Courtney Ellett
Principal

Courtney kicked off her career here in Memphis as a journalist at The Commercial Appeal. Now, at the helm of Obsidian with more than a dozen years of PR experience, she’s full of sound knowledge and sage advice. One pro tip she can rattle off in just three little words? Tell the truth. A mantra on which she prides herself and her business.

Crissy Lintner
Managing Director - Dallas Division

Crissy’s always on her toes — but that’s what she loves about her job and Obsidian's clients. The daily challenges are always different, keeping her excited and engaged. Her not-for-profit experience brings yet another perspective to the Obsidian team. She’s also a Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) member and serves on the Department of Communication Advisory Board for her alma mater, through which she is a mentor for students in the department. Crissy and her husband, John, have three kids that keep their hands happily full at home.

Lauren Hannaford
Account Manager

Lauren loathes not having a plan – in everyday life and at work. That’s why she laughs in the face of a deadline. But Lauren can be spontaneous, too, and that helps her effectively manage last-minute urgent tasks. Lauren considers herself part of her clients’ teams, as well — helping them visualize, create and execute incredible strategies every day. Lauren’s also a member of the Memphis chapter of PRSA.

Before bringing her enthusiasm to Obsidian, Kerri honed her creative edge in the marketing and advertising worlds. When she can find some ever-elusive free time, Kerri loves spending it with her husband and their three kids.

With more than a decade of journalism experience, she’s stellar at finding story angles that put her clients in the spotlight. In her free time, she travels whenever she can. Her next destination is Tokyo.

Kristen Orsborn
Account Manager - Dallas Division

Kristen is a communications professional whose work spans public relations, television news (including a role as producer for WFAA in Dallas), print, radio and social media. Now, she's having a blast as an account manager for Obsidian, using her newsroom skills and network of media contacts to build brand awareness. Kristen is originally from St. Louis, Mo., but now calls Dallas home. She is a proud mama to a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Coco and a beagle mix named Zack.

Kim Morrisson
Level 2 Intern

Kim loves staying busy. Whether it’s work or school, fun or business, she’d rather be busy doing something than nothing. As she says, “You’ll never be, if you never do.” This summer, Kim interned for the Memphis Roller Derby.  She’s a senior at The University of Memphis and is the secretary/treasurer for the U of M chapter of PRSSA.

Sarah doesn’t back down from a challenge. Test her with a writing piece or creative thinking session, and she will give you all she’s got. As an experienced PR intern, Sarah has worked as a marketing associate for a Baton Rouge business and as public relations director and vice president of public relations for different collegiate organizations. She’s a senior at LSU and is a member of the LSU chapter of PRSSA.
